Fees and money
What does the marketplace charge?
Brands pay a 10% fee on top of the campaign budget when they fund it. Clippers pay a 10% fee, taken from each payout. There are no other fees.
How do brands pay?
By card through Stripe, when funding a campaign. The minimum budget is $100. A campaign only goes live after Stripe confirms the payment.
What happens to budget that is not used?
When a campaign ends, either at its end date, when the brand ends it, or when the budget is fully earned, any budget that clippers did not earn is refunded to the brand's card. Earnings clippers already made are still paid to them.
Views and earnings
How are views counted?
After a brand approves a clip, its public view count is read from the platform every few hours and stored as a history. Views count for 30 days after approval. Earnings follow the campaign's rate, up to any per-post cap and the campaign budget.
Which platforms are supported?
TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Each campaign lists the platforms it accepts.
What if a clip has suspicious views?
Clips with sudden view spikes and very low engagement, or view counts that drop, are flagged for review and stop earning until we look at them. Earnings from clips confirmed as fraudulent are withheld.
Getting paid
When and how do clippers get paid?
Earnings clear after a 7-day hold. Once your cleared balance reaches $20, it is paid to your bank account through Stripe, minus the 10% fee.
Why does Stripe ask for my identity?
Stripe is required to verify people who receive payouts. You complete this once on Stripe's secure page; OnTimeData never sees your bank or ID details.
Rules
How do I prove an account is mine?
Add the short code we give you to your profile bio, then press Verify. You can remove the code afterwards. Each account can only be verified by one clipper.
What gets a clip rejected?
Missing required hashtags or mentions, posts published before the campaign started, posts from an account that is not yours, reposting someone else's clip, or content that does not follow the brief.
How do disputes and refunds work?
Brands can pause or end a campaign at any time. For questions about a payment, a review decision, or a payout, contact data@ontimedata.com.
